Accountant

Job Description:

Aylien, a leading technology company located in Galway, Connacht, IE, is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team at the Associate Level. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting. 2. Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. 3. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures. 4. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records. 5. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with all regulatory requirements. 6. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement. 7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met. 8. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. 3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 6. Energetic and adaptable personality traits. 7. People management and planning soft skills. 8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
