Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Wia in Limerick, Munster, Ireland. This part-time position is ideal for an entry-level candidate with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and handling vendor payments.
Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices for accuracy - Enter invoices into the accounting system - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Process vendor payments in a timely manner - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth invoice processing - Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements: - Resilient and confident personality traits - Strong decision-making and project management skills - Excellent attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills - Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
