Chat Support Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

SoapBox Labs, a leading speech technology company based in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Chat Support Specialist to join their remote team on a part-time basis. As an Associate-level professional with at least 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for providing exceptional chat support to customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and accurate manner 2. Resolve customer issues and technical problems efficiently 3. Collaborate with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues 4. Provide product information and guidance to customers 5. Document customer interactions and feedback for analysis and improvement 6. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all customer interactions 7. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience 8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company updates 9. Assist in training new team members on chat support best practices

Requirements: 1. Energetic and reliable personality traits 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3. Strong negotiation and adaptability skills 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 5. Experience with chat support or customer service role 6. Knowledge of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques 7. Proficiency in using chat support software and tools 8. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
