Customer Service Associate

Job Description:

Xocean is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team in Galway, Connacht, Ireland. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in customer service.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle customer inquiries and issues via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner. 2. Provide information about products and services, and assist customers with placing orders and resolving any concerns. 3. Maintain customer records and update information in the database accurately. 4. Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to customers. 6. Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve processes. 7. Assist with customer surveys and feedback collection to improve overall customer satisfaction. 8. Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.

Requirements: 1. Independent and resourceful mindset to handle customer inquiries effectively. 2. Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and problem-solving. 3. Persuasion skills to effectively communicate product benefits and upsell opportunities. 4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 6. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service is a plus.
