Job Description - Customer Support Associate

Customer Support Associate Job Description:


Cooper Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and independent Customer Support Associate to join our team in Waterford, Munster, IE. As an Associate Level role, this position requires at least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently. 3. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers. 4. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately in our database system. 5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve more complex customer issues. 6. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer support process and enhance the overall customer experience. 7. Meet or exceed performance goals and KPIs on a consistent basis.


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 2. 4+ years of experience in customer service or a related field. 3. Independent and motivated personality traits. 4. Excellent persuasion and attention to detail soft skills. 5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
