Job Description - Customer Support Manager

Job Description: We are looking for a Customer Support Manager to join our team at Wia in Cork, IE. As a mid-to-senior level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in customer support roles. The Customer Support Manager will be responsible for leading a team of support representatives to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the customer support team - Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures - Monitor team performance and provide feedback, coaching, and training as needed - Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience - Analyze customer data and feedback to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement - Utilize customer support software to track and manage customer interactions and tickets - Prepare regular reports on team performance and key metrics - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support


Requirements: - 6+ years of experience in customer support roles - Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role - Resourceful and confident personality traits - Strong planning and negotiation skills - Excellent communication and leadership abilities - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively - Proficiency in customer support software and Microsoft Office suite - Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or related field preferred
