Job Description - Online Customer Support Specialist


Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Airbnb Ireland UC in Dublin, IE. As an Associate Level position, the Online Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and hosts on our online platform. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or support role.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally through our online messaging system. 2. Assist guests and hosts with booking accommodations, resolving payment issues, and addressing any concerns they may have. 3. Troubleshoot technical issues related to the platform and escalate more complex problems to the appropriate team. 4. Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude in all interactions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall customer experience and identify areas for process improvement. 6. Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent support for customers. 7. Accurately document customer interactions and feedback for reporting and analysis purposes.


Requirements: 1. Reliable and adaptable personality traits. 2. Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 5. Proficiency in using online customer support tools and systems. 6. Familiarity with the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
