Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and independent Web Chat Assistant to join our team at Airbnb Ireland in Galway, Connacht. As a Web Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support to our guests and hosts.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide support through web chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist guests and hosts with booking-related questions, account issues, and other queries. 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively. 4. Use persuasion skills to upsell additional services or accommodations to guests. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and promotions.

Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in customer service or a similar role. 2. Proven ability to work independently and effectively manage time. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Strong persuasion skills to influence customer decisions. 5. Ability to cooperate and work well within a team environment. 6. Passion for providing exceptional customer service. 7. Basic knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus.
