Job Description - Web Chat Manager - Remote Work

Intercom is seeking a motivated and experienced Web Chat Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from any location. As a Web Chat Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our web chat operations to ensure seamless customer interactions and provide exceptional support to our users.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of web chat agents, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure excellent customer service. 2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize web chat performance, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction. 3. Monitor web chat conversations for quality assurance and compliance with company policies and procedures. 4. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, make recommendations for improvement, and drive performance KPIs. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 6. Train and onboard new web chat agents, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management to drive innovation and efficiency.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or web chat management. 2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence. 4. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meeting performance targets. 5. Reliable and hardworking, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 7. Proficiency in web chat platforms and CRM systems. 8. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
