Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process efficiently and accurately.Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as neededRequirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of basic accounting principlesEducation and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or relevant accounting roleSchedule:
