Kitchen Porter Part-Time

As a Kitchen Porter with our team here in Parkmore, Galway, you will be helping us deliver our catering services to those working for a large multinational manufacturing company. This position will be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver restaurant services in a positive and engaging environment. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions.

Part-time Position (09:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday)

What we are looking for from you:

• Maintain a supply of delph, cutlery, kitchen utensils, cooking pots and trays
• Carry out any reasonable tasks which support and assist with service delivery, food preparation, hygiene and any other tasks about the efficiency of the kitchen
• A good learner with attention to detail
• Willingness to embrace and apply our high food service standards
• A friendly personality, good people skills and a can-do attitude
• Self-motivated and able to use own initiative as/when required
• Team player with the ability to work towards a common goal
• Compliance with our Company's health and safety policies and practices.
• Occasional overtime may be offered depending on site needs.

You must have:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business is preferred
• A Strong background in hospitality or catering
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, is preferred
• A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude
