Job Description:

Smurfit Kappa Group is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Part-time PR Associate based in Cork, Ireland. As an Entry Level position, the PR Associate will be responsible for supporting the PR team in various tasks related to public relations, communications, and media relations.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns - Write press releases, articles, and other communication materials - Maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers - Monitor and analyze media coverage - Coordinate and attend PR events, interviews, and press conferences - Assist in managing social media accounts and online presence - Conduct research and analyze data to support PR initiatives - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging - Provide general administrative support to the PR department

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field - 1 year of experience in a PR or communications role is preferred - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and take initiative - Creative thinking and strong presentation skills - Reliable and detail-oriented - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
