Microsoft Ireland is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Associate to work remotely from home in Waterford, Munster, IE. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with at least 4 years of experience in public relations and communications. As a PR Associate at Microsoft Ireland, you will be responsible for managing and implementing public relations strategies to promote the company's products and services.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive positive media coverage - Write press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and coordinate interviews with key company spokespeople - Monitor media coverage and analyze results to measure the effectiveness of PR initiatives - Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels - Assist in crisis communication efforts and manage reputation in the event of negative press - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Previous experience in media relations, crisis communication, and social media management - Reliable and resourceful personality traits - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR software tools
