The Company Our client is an expert provider of electrical components, ancillary parts and other rotating electronics. In business since the 1960s, they have a rich history of success which has led to the company now boasting two distribution depots and long-standing relationships with their customer base. They are now seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their team in Tullamore and support their financial health in a permanent position for 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Your Role As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting our client’s accounts and financial processes. Specifically, using Sage Line 50, you will: - Maintain the debtor and creditor ledgers
- Manage the stock take
- Bring accounts to trial balance and ensure they are audit ready
- Complete VAT, Vies and Intrastat returns
- Prepare weekly lodgements
- Assist with the year end audit
- Process weekly Sage payroll About You To be considered as an Account Administrator, you will need: - At least three years’ experience in a similar accounts role
- Knowledge of Sage or similar accounts and/or payroll packages
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including proficiency with Word and Excel
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal An accountancy qualification would be an advantage; however, this is by no means essential. Other organisations may call this role Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Finance Clerk, Ledger Administrator, Finance Administrator, Purchase Ledger Assistant, Sales Ledger Assistant, Accounts Technician, Accountancy Administrator, or Financial Administrator.
