Job Description - Document Delivery Information Specialist

Job Description

A leading Pharma Company is looking for an experienced Librarian/ Document Specialist. Great for someone with 1-3 years relevant librarian experience.

Duties:

Provide a timely and efficient document delivery service

Review and mediate copyright permission orders to ensure compliance with applicable laws

Carry out basic database searches to verify bibliographic citations

Get the subscribed material online and ensure that they are accessible.

Escalate access issues and broken links.

Obtain material not held in collection selecting the best possible option.

Follow-up with provider for the timely supply of the publications.

Document work processes. Clearly communicate progress and results with peers and customers

KPIs:

Services turnaround time (Timeliness)

Error free services (Accuracy)

Customer satisfaction score, based on regular customer satisfaction survey

Skills:

1-3 years of relevant librarian experience.

Experience with interlibrary loan / document delivery including verification of bibliographic citations and lo-cation of items required.

Experience practicing intellectual property law required, specifically in the areas of copyright and licensing desired.

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a library environment.

Broad knowledge of healthcare online tools and e-resources (database, e-journals, etc.)

Attention to detail with the ability to complete a large volume of work quickly and independently.

Verbal & Written Communication skills

Strong customer service focus

Team player adept at working in multicultural settings, with an appreciation of differences in business and social cultures.

Problem Solving

Ability to work under time pressure

Education:

Degree in Library and Information Science (B.L.I.Sc),
