Role Summary
The HR Officer plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality HR standards across the organisation. They are responsible for implementing policies, managing documentation, and supporting HR processes. Open to Full or Part Time Applications.
Key Duties
- Administer HR databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Process leave applications promptly and issue relevant correspondence for various types of leave (maternity, parental, career break, etc.).
- Assist with recruitment, including scheduling interviews, conducting interviews and issuing formal offers.
- Handle contracts of employment and related documents.
- Serve as the Garda Vetting Liaison Person.
- Contribute to HRIS setup and maintenance, as well as the rollout of new HR technology solutions.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager in handling operational IR/ER issues (e.g., disciplinary and grievance matters).
- Contribute to ongoing development of HR systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Be currently eligible to work in Ireland
- At least 1 year of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant third-level qualification in HR or a related discipline (NFQ Level 7 or higher), or currently undertaking same.
- Excellent IT Skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook & HR Information Systems
Desirable
- Excellent knowledge of compliance requirements in a Health / Social Care setting (including HIQA etc...)
Remuneration The successful candidate will be appointed on the Grade IV Clerical Salary Scale (Sept. 2008), ranging from €32K to €39K (DOE).
