About the Role

Major Opticians are one of the longest practicing opticians in the south east of Ireland, in business since 1975. We are independent and locally owned with practices in Waterford and Carrick on Suir.

We offer a service of the highest quality with a huge range of frames from the best fashion houses, including Vogue, Nike, Flexon, Police, Ray Ban, Valentino, Elle, Esprit, Bolle, Gant, Guess, Givenchy and many more. We also have a large range of frames for the cost-conscious as well. Everyone is catered for.

We are looking for a Optical Assistant Receptionist to work 3 or 4 days a week at our well established and welcoming practice in Waterford. We can be flexible on working days, however there will be a requirement to work Saturdays.

It would be desirable if you had optical experience, however full training will be provided. Essentially, we need someone who is personable, positive and a great team player. Excellent customer service and comunication skills are also essential.

Educating others about the benefits of independent eye care is an ongoing challenge and one that we look forward to meeting head-on with you as a part of our team.
