We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Part-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in Mikey Ryan's Bar & Kitchen (casual dining). As a valued member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and contributing to a positive dining experience.

• Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and tidy dining area
• Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic maths
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
• Clear communication skills in English
• Previous experience in food and beverage service is desirable but not essential
• Food safety certification is preferred
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates
