We are recruiting for two portfolio management roles, which may be appointed at Associate Fund Manager or Fund Manager level depending on the skills, experience, and competencies of the successful candidates.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Associate / Fund Manager is a critical relationship manager and is responsible for managing a portfolio of awardees to deliver social impact in line with each fund’s objectives. The role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, providing capacity-building support, and overseeing project delivery across key areas such as Health, Education, Equality, Green Transition, and Social Enterprise. Success is demonstrated through impactful awardees, selected via Rethink Ireland’s transparent process, who complete a transformative capacity-building programme to enhance their local and national impact.

ROLE SUMMARIES
Associate Fund Manager
Programme management role. Manages a portfolio of awardees with responsibility for programme delivery, impact tracking, and capacity-building. Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills. Excellent communication and report writing; demonstrates leadership potential. Supports implementation; prepares budgets, facilitates reviews, and manages compliance. Experienced in stakeholder engagement and donor reporting. Requires a relevant qualification and 3–5 years of professional experience.
Fund Manager
Senior project/programme manager. Provides operational management of multiple funds and leads project design, delivery, and budget management. Develops capacity-building frameworks to ensure programme success. Manages significant awardee portfolios and leads team members. Brings strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, impact reporting, and financial oversight. Demonstrates proven expertise in donor reporting and project delivery. Possesses excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills. Requires a relevant qualification and 6–10 years’ experience leading complex programmes or projects.
