POSITION OVERVIEW
USAC is seeking a part-time Resident Director (RD) for its summer 2026 program in Cork, Ireland. The RD provides support and cultural experiences to USAC students, while managing the summer program based on the UCC campus running from late May to early July 2026. The RD manages on-site issues and operations of the summer program; monitors and assists with the well-being and needs of the participating U.S. university students (approx. 25-50 students); manages emergencies as needed and handles all communication with the U.S.-based Central Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hours expected – approx. 20 per week during the session (schedule will vary according to program planning and operational needs onsite). Peak period May 22-July 2, with limited additional hours required earlier (leading up to group arrival) and later (shortly beyond group departure). Potential for additional hours to support program development outside of the session dates.
