Team Leader (Maintenance) - Cork based (part-time)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Team Leader (Maintenance) to join our team. In this position, the role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities;

• Lead the maintenance team by organizing daily operations and prioritizing tasks based on the hostel's needs.


• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure efficient work and adherence to deadlines.


• Manage team schedules, organize shifts, and ensure compliance with all safety standards.


• Act as a liaison between the supervisor and maintenance assistants, communicating task progress and identifying areas for improvement.


• Provide support to the team in handling complex tasks and troubleshooting technical issues.


• The ability to use various hand tools.
  


• Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
