Job Description - Warehouse Operator

We are currently recruiting for skilled warehouse operators to join a logistics company based in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.

Description of Duties:

  • Operating counterbalance & pivot steer Forklifts
  • Driving forklifts, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating within a busy warehouse storage facility.
  • Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
  • Booking stock in on computer system
  • Follow company policies and procedures from an operational and health and safety perspective.
  • Dealing with other requests to support the operation of a busy branch as and when required.
  • Knowledge of barcoding/scanning/location/picking systems required
  • Picking of stock and product to complete order ready for shipment.

    • Requirements:

  • Have a valid Manual Handling Certificate
  • Power pallet licence
  • Counterbalance licence
  • Pivot steer forklift licence
  • Have a minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a busy warehouse environment
  • Be able to conduct all work through the English Language
  • A reference from a previous employer
  • Be health and safety conscious especially surrounding all COVID procedures and regulations.
  • Applicants must be able to get to and from work at designated start times

    • Monday – Friday

    Shift: 07:30 – 16:30

    Rate: €14 – € (depending on experience)

    Work every second Saturday (07:30 – 12:00 noon – Paid at basis
