Banqueting Manager

We are looking for a Banqueting Manager to join the Food & Beverage team of Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort, a landmark seasonal hotel with 196 rooms and extensive meeting and banqueting spaces.

The role
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Management, you will oversee the planning and execution of banqueting and conference operations, ensuring high service standards across a wide range of events. You will lead a team largely composed of casual and agency staff, supported by an in-house Supervisor, working closely with the Executive Chef and Events team.

Key responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate all banqueting and conference operations, from preparation to service delivery
• Lead, motivate and train the banqueting team, ensuring professionalism, engagement and service consistency
• Collaborate closely with Kitchen, Events, Housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure smooth execution of events
• Oversee staffing, briefings and scheduling in line with forecasted business levels
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene and hotel standards
• Monitor service quality and stock levels
• Actively participate in service when required, maintaining a hands-on leadership style

This role is ideal for an experienced Banqueting Manager or a strong Supervisor/Assistant Manager ready to step up in a prestigious, fast-paced seasonal environment.
