Location: Primarily remote 12 times a month onsite in Reston VA (Candidates must reside in DMVWV)

Project Summary

Machine Learning Engineer who will help mature the internal Data Science Team.

Essential Functions

The hired resource will be receiving Machine Learning models from the Data Scientists and will be responsible for optimizing scaling and deploying the Python codes to production for different Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence projects within CareFirst.

Top Five Skills Required

6 years of experience overall IT experience
3 years recent experience as an ML Engineer
Python programming experience
Jenkins automated deployment experience
Experience working in AWS cloud environments (SageMaker Lambda Glue Aurora)

Nice to have skills

Healthcare payer background
SageMaker experience
