Job Summary

Tetra Pak Food Engineering provides sales and services on processing plants within food, dairy & beverage industry in Italy. Within the Processing Cluster, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who can perform corrective, preventive and predictable maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over food processing equipments and/or complete lines. You will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of processing equipments and provide technical training to our customers.   
This is a permanent position based in Monza - Italy, which requires availability to travel in Italy on weekly basis, from Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• You will have the full responsibility to perform at customer site or remotely: preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning,  troubleshooting and fault findings
• Provide technical reports and suitable recommendations in order to ensure customer reliability about Tetra Pak’s services
• Drive customer to upgrade existing machine/plant, in order to maintain the highest grade of efficiency and performance guarantee
• The job includes frequent travels throughout Italy (approx. 80% of the time) and, being part of a cluster Service Organization, you might also be required to travel abroad
  

We believe you have

• You have a technical education in Mechanic, Electric and Electronic components 
• You should have spent some years providing installation, commissioning and servicing on equipments and/or processing lines., preferably in the food or chemical or pharmaceutical applications pumps and valves, separators, homogenizers
• You have developed specific competences on mechanics, electro technology and knowledge of automation
• You should have proven experience on mechanics and fluid-dynamics
• Good knowledge on electrical panel, MCC, process instrumentation and electrical installation, mainly oriented to the troubleshooting and fault findings
• Skills on automation with special regard to HMI interface, OP panels, PLC basic programming
• Good command of computer skills
• Good interpersonal, communication and team working skills
• Problem solving approach, you are methodical and efficient
• Flexible approach and availability to work in the weekends and overnight, if requested. Customer satisfaction is your key priority
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
