WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This position belongs to the Research & Development team for A2W/Chiller products.
Take care of the mechanical design of chillers and heat pumps using 2D / 3D CAD software. Coordinate with the design team to identify the best solutions to ensure product performance and reliability, as well as accessibility for maintenance and repair activities. Cooperate in the supervision of production activities, especially in the prototyping phase, and carry out their activities as integrated with all other design inputs, within a project team (mechanical, electrical and software, thermodynamics). Interfacing with suppliers both in the design phase and in the construction phase of mechanical parts, with the aim of finding the cost-effective solution according to company quality standards. Creation of bills of materials for the mechanical structure of the units designed, interfacing with the supply chain for the management of coding and maintenance of revisions. Drafting and drafting of the documentation necessary to ensure that the product assembly operations are performed in the best possible way ensuring a high level of efficiency and quality, also according to the principles of Lean Manufacturing. Report in a structured way the activities of its competence, planning the workload and deadlines under the supervision of the R&D team leader. Participate in the analysis of non-conformities by giving willingness to evaluate and propose all resolving interventions for all company functions that are influenced by its design.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Having already gained experience in Technical Offices in companies in the HVAC sector is an element to be preferred. Technical knowledge of design with regard to the construction of bent sheet metal structures and piping of even complex refrigeration circuits. Being advanced user with SolidWorks and/or other 3D modelling software. English upper basic level. Ability to adapt, flexibility, desire to learn and accept challenges, to take responsibility for one's role. Understanding impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function.
