Proposal Installation Survey Engineer - Urgent Role

Cooperation and co-responsibility on the results of the activities carried out by Proposal Installation Engineers:

Survey proposals

Critical analysis of received offers from survey subcontractors: SOW alignment, Costs, Qualifications, Benchmarking with other tenders/projects and in-house solutions

Improve knowledge of known Survey Companies and assistance in scouting for new Subcontractors

Engineering

Data analysis

Route engineering

Assessment on suitable burial tools

BAS

Burial tools speed evaluation based on track records and/or numerical analysis

Preparation and updates of future survey activities planning showing time, clashes, workload, etc.

Preparation of details survey specs for purchasing use up to the award of the subcontract

Managing and devolvement of engineering software’s: AutoCad, GIS Online, Makai, WOW software, etc.

If needed and agreed by the inline manager, engineering in execution phase (route engineering, data analysis, BAS, etc.)

Degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.

Fluent in English, written and spoken

Curious and eager to quickly learn and get involved to improve autonomy

Precise, proactive, problem solving and target oriented

Capacity to understand and conceptualizes complexity into concise frameworks

Pragmatic, flexible, capable to set and to handle and adapt to the priorities.

Flexibility and capability to manage changes during the work

Good relationship approach and team working capability

Knowledge of GIS systems

Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and in the use of the Web.

Availability to short but possibly frequent trips, domestic and abroad

In case of experienced candidate, at least fulfilling one of the requirements below in the added-value requirements list

Experience in same or similar role and area

Knowledge of / experience in the submarine survey world coming from operative or engineering roles
