We are looking for a passionate Travel Specialist who is responsible, along with the travel team, for VCARB Team members travel arrangements

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

• Understanding Team members travel requirements

  Providing Team members with support and advice on travel-related topics such as passports, visas, travel insurance, regulations etc...

  Booking flights, hotels, transfers, car rentals

  Arranging for transportation to and from the airport and/or to and from race tracks, handling travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancelations

  Providing clear communication to all Team Members traveling both for trackside events or business trips

  Fulfil all the requests regarding necessary regulations (passports, visas, etc.)

• Supporting the Travel Manager in negotiating of contracts with suppliers in order to provide the Team with the best stay at the most efficient costs

  Occasionally providing attendance to races/tests and perform site inspections when needed (around 20 days per year).

  Maintaining good relationships with suppliers

• Ensuring a high level service at all times, paying the utmost attention to details

  Keeping up-to-date records in the database

  Fulfil all the requests regarding necessary regulations (passports, visas, etc.)

  Prioritizing and delivering tasks on time

  Providing flexible attendance and attitude to work, in line with the requirements of the role.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in the business travel, in a complex and fast-paced environment
• Fluent in Italian and English, a third language is a plus
• Advance knowledge of MS Office and Excel
• Solid knowledge of travel routes and travel industry/trends
• Team working skills, proactive and can-do attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communications kills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Time management skills
• Ability to communicate efficiently and working in advance to anticipate Team’s needs.
• Drive for high performance
• Attitude for innovation
• This role is required to travel occasionally (around 20 days per year).
