Senior Advisor – Coastal Global Ocean Observations and International Collaboration
Deadline: September 15th, 2025
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you ready to join a global scientific team tackling the most urgent coastal climate challenges?
We are seeking a Senior Advisor – Coastal Global Ocean Observations and International Collaboration to reinforce CMCC’s international leadership in coastal standard and citizens science, and low costs observation systems and marine data integration. This role will contribute to the Global Coasts as New Frontier (GCNF) program, an ambitious global initiative to deploy solutions in tens of sites worldwide with a focus on the Global South by 2030.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision and operational expertise in low cost/citizen science and standard ocean observing systems, marine data management, and international partnerships. We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional with a proven track record in building multidisciplinary teams and networks, securing external funding, and translating scientific knowledge into operational and societal/policy-relevant marine services.
