Who We Are

Podcasts are a rapidly growing medium both in Italy and worldwide, quickly becoming a real global cultural phenomenon. In Italy alone, in 2021 the monthly podcast listeners were over 12 million, with a growth of 21% compared to the previous years. 

VOIS is a podcast creators company. We are leader in the production of podcasts for brands and podcast advertisements, working for creators to deliver a unique type of advertising format based on podcasting. Our shows reach over 22% of the total Italian audience.

In this context and as part of an important growth strategy, we are looking for a talented Account Executive to join our team.

What we are looking for 

You are the right one if you are organized and precise with a strong desire to make other people see the world the way you see it.

Knowing perfectly our media offering, you should be able to collect customers briefs, propose creative formats and manage the project lifecycle including contracts, reporting and project closing. We collaborate with many stakeholders and we're looking for people that strive to create a strong relation with all of them: customers, creatives, podcasters and obviously all internal teams.

Ok, so here's what you'll do.

Responsibilities  

Your journey will approach the full cycle of business development such as participating in meetings with customers and collecting client's brief. You will coordinate with creative, production and sales team to identify the best offer to propose to the client. And here is where the fun begin.

Working with podcasters, creatives, media and production team, you will manage all the activities needed to bring our project far above customer expectations, as we're used to do. 

In a nutshell: 

  • Understanding perfectly our media offering, you work cross-functionally between the company and the customers to craft the perfect project proposal. 
  • Define and manage resources needed for every project, coordinating with producers and project managers to deliver projects on time, on budget and above expected quality 
  • Create outstanding presentations and pitch them to potential customers 
  • Create and maintain relationship with current customers 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities 
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives 
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) 
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role
  • Direct experience within the entertainment or digital media industry (video, podcasting, digital campaigns)
  • Ability to create great presentations and to pitch them accordingly
  • Native Italian speaker, proficient in English (written, spoken and listened ;)
  • Experience with CRMs (Hubspot is a plus)
  • Reading carefully all requirements. They will be tested during the hiring process and you can't imagine how many people will not read this section. But if you're different (and we hope so), remember the keyword for this position is ‘Lizard'
  • The position requires an average of 2 days in office in Milan

Over the requirements above, you will stand out with

  • Proven ability in managing customers with outstanding results
  • Experience in the digital media industry
  • Direct experience with Hubspot, Notion, Google Presentations, Canva, Chat GPT and other LLMs
  • Passion for podcasting! 

A sense of humor and a compelling annoyance for the status quo is highly valued.
