Accounting Coordinator

Location: Flexible (Milan or Limana preferred)

Join Epta Group as an Accounting Coordinator, where you’ll combine strong technical expertise with a light coordination role across a lean team.

Your Impact

In this role, you will act as a key link between local operations and Corporate Finance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth day-to-day accounting processes.

You will work in a lean structure, with one direct local report, and collaborate with small shared service teams (2–3 people) across our international hubs.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and contribute hands-on to general accounting and closing activities
• Prepare financial statements in line with local and international accounting standards
• Deliver monthly financial reporting using Group tools (e.g., SAP/HFM)
• Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and statutory requirements, supported by external advisors
• Support audit processes, risk analysis, and cash control
• Oversee treasury and banking activities, supporting effective cash flow management
• Coordinate daily activities with: 
  • One direct report locally
  • Small shared service teams internationally 
• Act as a reference point for operational accounting topics, ensuring alignment and consistency across teams

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in accounting (Senior Accountant level)
• Solid hands-on experience in general ledger, closing, and reporting
• Some exposure to coordinating tasks, mentoring, or guiding colleagues (formal or informal)
• Experience in multinational or structured environments is a plus
• Intermediate level of English

Your Expertise

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
• Good understanding of tax and compliance requirements
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

At Epta, we offer a transparent and competitive compensation package aligned with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL - Metalworking).

CCNL level: B3
Base salary: From € 36.906,87 gross per year (CCNL Level B3 minimum). The final offer will be determined using objective, gender-neutral criteria applied consistently across all candidates, including verified professional experience, relevant technical competencies, and the confirmed scope and responsibilities of the role.
