Our client is looking for an Area Sales Engineer who successfully completed studies in the field of Energy Engineering, Business Administration, comparable qualification and has proven record of successful sales.
The Area Sales Engineer C&I will be responsible for the direct sales of Energy Efficiency products and tools to the commercial and industrial sectors, from the prospecting activities until the closing of the contract.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding for C&I customer needs in the Italian market and contribute to the assessment and development of the right product/market-fit Development, establishment, and growth of a solid customer base for the C&I business Lead generation and management, including coordination of related marketing activities Building and management of sales pipeline, close monitoring and effective analysis and steering of pipeline stages Creation and execution of effective sales strategies to ensure the achievement of business objectives Customer Relationship Management Strong support of all business development activities Close cooperation with Business Development C&I throughout end-to-end customer project management process as well as in facilitating pilot project realization Support in continuous collection and reporting of customer and competitor intelligence as well as market condition and development Regular Sales and Business Reporting Creation of forecasts, controlling und reporting of sales-related KPIs und budgets and involvement in business planning Close cooperation with relevant interfaces within the Group and the Italian colleagues (. Marketing, Finance, Product & Service, IT, Identify, create and utilize synergies through business relationship with the sales organization responsible for residential business Your competencies:
Successfully completed studies in the field of Energy Engineering , Business Administration, comparable qualification Strong communication, negotiation and active listening skills with a distinctive customer-centric approach Proven record of successful sales Experience in sales of innovative products and services, both software and hardware-based Good engineering, IT and technical understanding High level of initiative as well as independent and structured way of working with a constant focus on results and added value Can-do and hands-on approach Quick comprehension faculty paired with creative drive and entrepreneurial mindset Italian native speaker or proficient user; fluent written and spoken English; other languages are an advantage Work location: North Milan (travelling, especially in Lombardy, is required)
