Assistant Restaurant Manager, Grill Restaurant - Splendido, A Belmond Hotel

For the next season, we are looking for a Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at our Pool Grill Restaurant.   

The candidate should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.  

The candidate reports to Restaurant Manager.  

Main duties & responsibilities:   

• Oversee and support the operations in the restaurant to ensure an enjoyable dining experience; 

• Manages opening and closing of the restaurant; 

• Responding to customer needs and question; 

• Managing inventory operations;  

• Plan in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers all the activities and menu implementations;  

• Ensure that health and safety regulation are respected;  

• Lead and train the restaurant personnel in order to create a collaborative and efficient environment;  

• Strong organizational skills At least 2 years of experience in similar roles; 

• Proven track record of managing and motivating a team. 

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 

• Proficiency in restaurant management software (POS systems, reservation platforms, etc.). 

• Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management Knowledge of local health and safety regulations. 

• Fluent in English; knowledge of [mention any other relevant languages, e.g., Italian, Spanish] is a plus. 

• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities. 

• Strong knowledge of English language, other languages will be considered a plus;  

• HACCP certificate 

• We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 2,  Assistant Restaurant Manager;  

• Start date: April/May 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;   

• Monthly gross salary around 2.900€ + separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
