Back End Developer (Mid-Senior)

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Backend Developer, you will join the Development team, collaborating closely with people from across the organization and focusing on data-ingestion, process automation, and scalability.

You will learn how to improve current processes and find new solutions to solve complex issues that we daily face.

We’re looking for someone with an understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment), as well as how databases, web scraping, efficiency, and scalability work.

The Development team consists of 11 people from all backgrounds and experience in FE, BE, and DevOps.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR 

A Backend Developer (Mid-Senior) with:

• Significant experience as a Backend Developer with NodeJS
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Fastify is preferred)
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Experience with Databases (MongoDB and PostgreSQL are preferred)
• Practical experience in delivering in an agile environment.
• Practical experience in software development using TDD
• Experience with AWS tools
• Experience with Web scraping is a plus
• Experience using REST/GraphQL-based API in a production environment
• Understanding of security and performance considerations.
• Understanding of architectural and design patterns.
