ROLE OVERVIEW

As a senior Business Controller, you will play a key role in monitoring financial performance and driving strategic decisions across our data center operations. You will partner with business leaders to ensure financial transparency, optimize cost structures and monitoring of performance in a fast paced, infrastructure intensive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for Data Center operations

• Analyse financial performance and monitor progress against budget providing necessary KPIs, suggesting corrective actions where needed

• Collaborate with sales, operations and procurement teams to track performance and improve processes

• Participate monthly closing process and define cut off accruals

• Monitor and control capital expenditures across multiple sites, define accruals and track progress collaborating with construction department

• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for management and external stakeholders. Implement dashboards to follow costs by center of activity of asset and identify deviations from budget

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory requirements (SOX controls)

• Drive automatization and improvement of financial processes, tools and reporting systems

PROFILE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related fields

• 5 to 7 years min of experience in financial controlling, preferably in the data center or tech infrastructure field or international group

• Strong analytical skills, problem solving oriented and proficiency in financial modeling and tools (excel, Power BI)

• Knowledge of Italian GAAP / IFRS. Experience with SOX controls appreciated

• Good interpersonal skills, team oriented

• Capacity to organize and manage priorities and deadlines

• Professional proficiency in English/Italian
