Business Development Representative - International (Outbound)

About the Team

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team in Milan and open conversations in international markets where Trustfull has no office and no local salesperson. You will work directly with the Chief Sales Officer and closely with Marketing and Solution Engineering. Your job is to create the first contact with companies that have never heard of us. There is no territory list: you will help decide where Trustfull goes next.

In this role you will :

- generate new business opportunities through structured, high-volume outbound prospecting.

- learn to read the weak signals that show a company may be ready for a conversation: a fintech launching in a new country, a lender hiring its first Head of Fraud, a funding round, a new regulatory obligation, or engagement with our website and content. You will turn those signals into relevant outreach by email, LinkedIn and phone.

- start conversations with Heads of Fraud, Risk and Compliance, explain how Trustfull helps them reduce fraud without slowing down good customers, and qualify each opportunity carefully.

- qualified meetings to the Sales Team and support the next steps. Along the way you will track what works (which countries, verticals, roles and messages respond best) and share those insights with Sales and Marketing.

• 1–3 years of sales experience (sales development, business development, inside sales or similar), ideally in a SaaS or B2B technology environment
• Experience with outbound prospecting and working to activity or pipeline targets
• Ability to manage a high volume of outreach in an organised, consistent way
• Native-level or fully fluent professional English
• Milan preferred, with flexibility on location and global scope

Other qualifications:

• Curiosity for fraud and identity: interest in, or basic knowledge of, fraud prevention, digital identity and KYC/AML is a strong plus
• Structure and method: you plan your week, follow a process, track your numbers and learn from them
• Credibility and value proposition: you can explain a technical product simply and connect it to a business problem
• Communication and trust building: excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Tenacity and accountability: you are highly motivated, resilient to rejection, detail-oriented and hungry to grow
• Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
• Additional languages (German, Dutch, Nordic language or others) are a plus
