Introduction

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer, on a fixed-term contract, to cover maternity leave, who will be responsible for managing, organising and coordinating the company's administrative, accounting and financial services. This is a very important and complex role, as an organisation can only survive if it actively investigates and safeguards its finances.
A CFO must be an expert in all aspects of financial management, from simple accounting to more complex banking and investment operations. The ideal candidate must be an excellent leader.

What you will do

•   Lead the company's financial planning
•   Ensure the correct accounting treatment of economic, equity and financial transactions, in accordance with current regulations
•   Ensure that cash flow is adequate for the organisation's operations
•   Monitor and evaluate administrative and economic management, proposing solutions for improvement
•   Manage the administrative office's human resources, collaborating with other departments to optimise internal processes
•   Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax and legal advisors
•   Prepare reliable reports on current trends and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with the law and company policies

What you should bring to the table

• Proven experience as a CFO, financial manager or equivalent role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Ability to solve problems and find effective solutions
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to manage budgets, analyse financial data and make strategic decisions
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written Italian and English; knowledge of German would be an added bonus, in order to communicate regularly and smoothly with the company and the group CFO
• Degree in economics or law; a master's degree/MBA would be an advantage
