Chef de Partie - Splendido, a Belmond Hotel Portofino

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team at our refined La Terrazza Restaurant.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.  He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.  

He/She reports to Executive Chef. 

Main duties & responsibilities: 

• Meal preparation: cooking and preparing food for each service; 
• Maintain safety, health and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen; 
• Controls incoming goods and stores them in perfect conditions; 
• Monitors portion and waste control; 
• Performs all duties assigned by the Executive Chef; 
• Coordinate and monitor all Demi and Commis de partie assigned to him/her. 
  
  

• At least 2 years of previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment; 

• Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred; 
• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally. 
• Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability; 
• Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player; 
• Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues; 
• Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background; 
• HACCP certification. 
  

• We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4,  Chef de Partie; 
• Start date: May 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path; 
• Monthly gross salary + separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR; 
• Welfare incentive based on quality goals;   
• Accomodation in double room our staff house including breakfast; 
• Bus ticket as benefit for the contract period;  
• Staff cantine;
