Civil Project Engineer

What you will do:

The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating the design process of engineering projects across multiple geographies, focusing in the Italian pipeline. Working closely with local engineering leads, this role provides technical support throughout the development, contracting, and construction phases. The specialist ensures project execution aligns with departmental directives, regulatory requirements, cost minimization, timely delivery, and quality standards of the assets.

Requirements:

• Coordinate and oversee engineering activities from design inception to project handover, ensuring integration and alignment across functions and technologies (solar, wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).


• Develop, review, and validate technical designs, layouts, and specifications to guarantee compliance with operational, regulatory, and quality standards.


• Define and enforce quality protocols and specifications for critical capital equipment used in renewable energy projects.


• Standardize engineering processes and promote cross-project learning to optimize efficiency and execution quality.


• Plan and manage the integration of energy systems (solar, wind, BESS) into electrical grids, covering both transmission and distribution networks.


• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to support knowledge sharing and project delivery aligned with strategic goals.


• Maintain up-to-date expertise on best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving regulations to continuously enhance technical performance.

What are we looking for

• University Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably Master degree, or equivalent in experience)


• Minimum of 8-10 years of total experience


• Minimum of 5-8 years with experience in design and/or redaction and/or revision of different kind of projects for wind farms, PV Plants, substations and high voltages lines, specific in WIND


• Experience with WTG assembly strategies and transports simulation.


• Experience in managing and supervision of engineering projects.


• Coordination of external providers and engineering service suppliers


• Extensive previous experience in ability to take accountability for delivering high-quality outputs aligned with strategic priorities.


• Strong skills in process optimization and workflow efficiency improvement.


• Experience integrating new technologies to drive operational growth and efficiency.


• Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


• Demonstrated knowledge evolution mindset with ability to apply emerging practices and regulatory updates.


• Familiarity with project coordination across renewable energy sectors including solar, wind, and storage systems.


• Ability to work under broad objectives and independently resolve complex technical challenges using sound judgment and established precedents.


• Normative and local regulations (NTC, Genio Civile...)


• AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory)


• Vehicle Tracking


• BIM (Building Information Modeling) 

• Excel Intermediate


• Italian and English fluency


• Car driving license
