Malwarebytes is looking for …

We’re looking for a talented software engineer who loves developing security software for Microsoft Windows, with some experience in Windows internals and a willingness to incredibly improve their Windows kernel/user development skills. Their responsibilities will be mainly improving existing Windows security tools, research, and implementing new malware detection and protection technologies. On-site availability in Perugia, Italy is strongly preferred .

What You’ll Do :

Software development under the Microsoft Windows platform (C/C++ /.NET )

Maintaining existing protection and detection tools and platforms

Implementing new research tools and malware detection features

Joint development of user mode and kernel mode software

Skills You’ll Need to Have :

Bachelor ’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

2+ years of Windows software development

C/C++ and C# knowledge

Microsoft Windows internals knowledge

Knowledge of how to develop using Windows APIs

Fluency in English and Italian languages is mandatory

Team player and excellent self-learning and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a high-performance team, in a high technology business company

• Creative thinking and problem solving, with a positive and motivated approach

Nice to Have Skills :

Experience in malware analysis and cybersecurity field in general.

Experience in Windows driver development and debugging using WinDbg and alternatives

Experience in MacOS or Linux development and their internals
