Construction Project Manager
Location: Warsaw
R.Power Group, a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in renewable energy, is rapidly growing across Europe with utility-scale photovoltaic farms. Established in 2010, we’ve expanded operations across multiple countries, including Poland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, and Romania. With 11 offices and almost 450 employees, we cover the entire solar value chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy and schedule for the implementation of PV projects, taking into account budgets, timelines, technical requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Selection: Collaborate with the procurement department to choose appropriate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the quality of workmanship and adherence to agreements.
- Provide effective supervision of the construction process, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and safety standards.
- Cooperate with local DSO regrating connection PV farms to the grid.
- Monitor the project budget and take corrective actions in case of unforeseen expenses.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and partners to keep them informed about project progress, address potential issues, and maintain positive business relationships.
- Ensure that the project meets all local, regional, and national regulations and requirements for photovoltaic installations.
- Implement efficient workflows and solutions to increase project efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Project Management Experience within Solar Renewables sector
- Higher education in engineering, construction, renewable energy, or related fields – nice to have
- Familiar with the EPC processes of investment projects
- Experience in working with international teams
- Experience in cooperative with local DSO
- Knowledge of regulations and standards related to photovoltaic installations – nice to have
- Effective management skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Excellent command of English
- High level of assertiveness in relation to external contractors
- Ability to think analytically and draw conclusions
- Ability to communicate effectively with higher management and with contractors
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well-developed intercultural skills
Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
Budget and project cost management skills
