We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to enhance the security of our cloud and on-premises ecosystems. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in security engineering with operational leadership in SecOps. This role involves hands-on implementation of security tools and solutions, automating security processes, designing secure architectures, and collaborating across various teams to ensure robust organizational security.

What will your job look like?

• Design and Implement Secure Solutions:

o Lead the organization's cloud and on-premises secure solutions architecture throughout the project lifecycle (from initiation to ongoing operations).

o Ensure security solutions meet both business and technical requirements.

•  Strategic Planning and Policy Development:

o Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information security.

o Develop, implement, and administer security policies, foundations, and standards.

•  Security Leadership:

o Lead security design efforts and be accountable for the integrity of security solutions.

o Guide cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices.

• Stay Ahead of Emerging Threats:

o Keep updated with emerging security threats and alerts.

o Conduct research on new products, services, protocols, and standards to enhance security efforts.

• Communicate and Collaborate:

o Share and articulate end-to-end security solutions to the management and technical teams.

o Create and support POCs/demos and present security solutions to relevant stakeholders.

All you need is...

•  Experience:

o Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the Information Security field.

o Proven experience in defining security requirements, designing security architectures, and implementing security projects.

• Technical Skills:

o In-depth knowledge of security architectural considerations from end-to-end application and infrastructure security perspectives.

o Hands-on experience with implementing and managing security tools and solutions, including automation using APIs and SOAR platforms.

o Proficiency in scripting languages; Python is preferred.

o Experience with cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS – AWS, Azure, GCP).

o Proven experience with security aspects of OS security, databases, networks, Kubernetes (K8s), serverless architectures, and IAM.

o Knowledge and experience with security controls and tools such as XDR, vulnerability management platforms, WAF, API gateways, and CSPM.

• Advanced Security Knowledge:

o Strong understanding of encryption, identity management, federated authentication systems, logging, monitoring, and governance practices.

o Knowledge of compliance standards (PCI DSS, SOX, DPA, etc.) and information security standards (ISO 27001, OWASP, CIS, etc.) is an advantage.

o Familiarity with SSDLC methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is an advantage.

o Security-related certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) are a plus.

•  Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and presentation skills.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

o Proactive mindset with the ability to lead initiatives and drive change.
