We are looking for a Design Engineer eager to join our Engineering Team in Varisco, Atlas Copco Padova. You’ll be part of an operational team with the goal to support the further development of our product range.

Varisco Product Company is a well-established and ever-expanding company. It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016 Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it. 

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Support feasibility studies of new project, gathering accurate information
• CAD design and creation of all the drawings necessary for the construction of production prototypes
• Draft critical detailse lay-out and design in order to build a functional prototype
• Follow the development of the prototype and the results of the tests in order to verify their adherence to the technical specifications
• Support in the drafting of the machines manuals
• Production support during the start-up phase
• Maintenance of drawings, bills of materials and related documents following updates or changes that have occurred.
  
   

What we expect from our candidates:

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Proved experience on the job
• proven experience production release documents (electro-pneumatic diagrams, assembly information, data sheets, information for final testing, CE dossier or other documentation in compliance with the reference legislation)
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to details and data analysis skills
• Proactive and able to successfully work in team
• Good command of English and Italian (both spoken and written)
• Available for national and international travel
