Descrizione Lavoro - Desktop Support - Milan Italy

Responsibilities: SECURITY & COMPLIANCE • Vulnerability Management: Monitor, identify, and remediate system vulnerabilities to ensure infrastructure security. • System Patching/Upgrades: Perform regular updates and upgrades for non-workplace systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, firmware, and operating systems). • Digital Certificates Management: Handle renewals and new activations of SSL/TLS certificates for websites and applications. • SCEA Updates: Ensure timely updates to SCEA (likely a security or compliance-related platform/tool). • PCD Projects & BAU Support: • Manage remote access configurations. • Maintain and update continuous firewall rules. • Monitor IoT devices and ensure proper backup solutions are in place. INTEGRATION • DMZ & Middleware Management: Maintain and monitor middleware solutions between corporate (office) networks and PCD (Process Control Domain) environments. • Application Interfaces: Manage integrations and interfaces between local applications and third-party systems (both global and local). HOSTING • Lifecycle Management & Global Projects: • Plan and execute infrastructure lifecycle projects. • Example: Support the migration from T-Systems infrastructure to the Future Cloud Infrastructure (FCI) platform. NETWORK • Warehouse Connectivity: • Deploy network services for new warehouse locations. • Set up backup connections for logistics warehouses (e.g., Partesa, HK). Facility Support: • Oversee physical infrastructure needs (server rooms, electrical systems, etc.). WORKPLACE • Printer Management: Provide technical support and lifecycle management for workplace printing solutions. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Infrastructure Support: Offer broad infrastructure knowledge to support and back up Backbone (core IT) specialists. ROLE: ONSITE SUPPORT LOCATION: MILAN, ITALY (HYBRID) EXPERIENCE LEVEL – 8 TO 10 YEARS • Ticketing & Communication: • Serve as a point of contact for opening critical (P1) incident tickets. • Communicate incidents and updates effectively across teams and vendors. Project Support: • Facilitate the new network and hosting connections required for ongoing projects, collaborating closely with Solution Managers • Experience developing OIC Integrations with Fusion cloud ERP and third-party integrations is a plus.
