Mission

The DPQL deploys the Somfy Quality Strategy adapted to the Business Line Access & Security in development projects.

Integrated into the project teams, it is responsible for the Project/Product Quality mapping by defining the scope of Qualification and quality assurance for parts based on the typology of each project.

The scope covers all DPQL missions within development projects, from feasibility/evaluation phases to the series start-up of new products.

The DPQL serves as a link and ensures the transition with the quality stakeholders at production sites throughout the projects.

It provides support to the series actors of components and products for any modifications or deviations during the production life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• You ensure that Quality is taken into account within project teams by deploying the necessary tools and methods to achieve the goals;
• You will manage the development of components and purchased products in relation to suppliers by implementing the associated Quality planning (APQP);
• Monitoring of changes / non-conformities during the production life cycle;

• Evaluation Phase: Assist the buyer in validating supplier/part feasibility in terms of QCDT;

Identify requirements and the support or development needs of the supplier;

Learn all the specifications of the offer and translate it as risks.

• Pre-Study and Study Phase: Initiate the qualification plan;

Evaluate Quality risks & project impact;

Assess regulatory requirements;

Initiate the FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for Product, Process and Suppliers;

Define the after-sales policy with the RQC (Quality Responsible) and the objectives of test projects with the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management);

Participate in the selection of suppliers with the project team.

• Realization Phase: Ensure the monitoring and progress of the qualification and functional validation plan;

Declare the qualification of the product in collaboration with the quality manager;

Analyze the maturity of the product acquisition process;

Verify the receipt of the CE declaration:

Validate the PPAPs with suppliers and carry out the GFIS (Global Failure Investigation System) and ISAR (Item Safety Assessment Report).

• Launch Phase: Close the FMEA for product and process;

Ensure monitoring of reported defects and track corrective actions;

Prepare and conduct the transfer review;

Perform the capacity audit of suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electronic Engineering with confirmed experience (anni di esperienza indicativi?) in Quality project management;
• Competencies for regulations (IEC/EN 60335, CEM, ISO 9001);
• Knowledge of project development;
• Knowledge of statistical tools (quali?);
• Risk management and its mastery is indispensable (soft o hard skill?);
• Fluency in Italian and English in a must (French is considered a plus);
• Soft skills: reactivity, proactivity, persuasion skills, attention and precision, problem solving skills.
