Digital Technical Engineer (f/m/d)

As part of European Regional Digital Team you will adapt and support rolling out the Global Transformer Digital Strategy deployment and digital portfolio in the region.

You will develop and implement regional Digital sales strategy aligned with global strategy to increase customer penetration through engagement with Front End and Transformers Sales Teams, distribution channel and through promotion of service offerings.
Furthermore you will support Digital Technical Team in problem-solving process at Digital projects.

Your responsibilities

Adapt and roll out the global sales strategy and business development plan to drive Digital projects sales in Europe

Identify with local factories and Front End early adopters for Digital Power Transformers and make a plan for pilots, generating business for Service as well as products (power, distribution, traction)

Accountable to deliver Digital sales across the region

Accountable for the regional yearly Digital Plan

Make sure all new power transformers are delivered digitally-enabled from European Transformer factories

Leadership of the Digital Projects Sensor and Monitoring line-up along with Digital Power Transformers to drive sales growth

Encourage innovation within sales teams to maximize service sales opportunities/ share the value proposition

Undertake regular follow up and tracking of growth plan implementation, launching proactive steps to mitigate slippage

Secure all units have knowledgeable personnel on Digital business (Sales, Project Mgmt., Field Service Engineers) by implementing and leading proper training program, and supervise relevant hires

Your background

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Technical department (R&D, Electrical Eng.), Project Mgmt. or Product Marketing, Sales and Business development in the assigned sector, associated with transformer businesses

The person in this role should have strong technical skills, in addition to the marketing experience, to be able to bridge the technical teams to the marketing teams in the company

A degree (Electrical Engineering) from an accredited university. A Master’s / PhD degree is a plus

Excellent networking skills matured in a highly international organization, “leading by influence”

Professionalexperiencein the areas ofchange management, project work and process development is desirable

Intercultural sensitiveness is required, with good communication skills in oral and written, with colleagues from multi-countries for assigned region.

Strong command of English, including excellent writing and presentation skills
