As a Digital Technology Specialist-Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Technical Tool team, where we drive new software creation and maintain legacy and commercial software for analysis and simulation, machine selection and performance calculation of Turbomachines (Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors, Gas and Steam Turbines, Expanders, and Pumps).
We manage and administer the special computing infrastructure (HW and SW) and technological stack including an High Performance Computing facility and its ecosystem in terms of software and special parallel infrastructure.
Our mission is to provide, drive and guarantee the availability of these systems allowing other design engineers to work efficiently in a concurrent environment.
Working in a global environment, you will have ownership of a series of engineering applications, services, software, and systems. You will have the responsibility of this ecosystem with Functional Owners in the Engineering organization, in collaboration with team members, third-party system administrators and Baker Hughes’ internal clients and stakeholders.
