Electrical Engineer - Solar PV

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer - Solar PV, you will play a vital role in the development of solar PV and BESS projects focusing on technical feasibility assessments, design, and documentation preparation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting technical feasibility assessments for solar PV plants and electrical interconnection infrastructures, including HVOL and substations.
• Designing all aspects of solar PV projects, including resource assessment, layout trade-offs, agrivoltaic plants, civil works, and electrical infrastructures.
• Developing technical documentation for various project stages, such as Sole Authorization, Grid Connection, Construction, and commissioning.
• Collaborating with internal experts and external consultants to support project design and technical due diligence.
• Creating technical drawings detailing land affected for surface rights or acquisition contracts.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferable 1 years of professional experience in solar PV plant design and electrical interconnection infrastructures (HVOL and substations).
• Experience in preparing technical documentation for grid access and connection requests.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in PVsyst, PVCase, AutoCAD, and QGIS.
• Ability to work independently with commitment, creativity, and accuracy.
• Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills.
• Team-player ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluency in Italian and English languages.
