Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Energy Marshall to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

* Energy Isolation & Safety Authority

Act as the senior authority for all energy isolation activities on site, ensuring safe control of electrical and mechanical systems through rigorous permit-to-work, LOTO procedures, and energisation protocols.

* Energisation Planning & Execution

Lead the planning and coordination of system energisation, developing detailed sequencing, risk assessments, and method statements to support safe and efficient commissioning of critical infrastructure.

* Permit Control & Compliance

Manage and enforce permit systems across all high-risk activities, ensuring strict compliance with project safety standards, local regulations, and best practice on a live, high-value construction environment.

* Stakeholder Coordination

Interface with construction, commissioning, and client teams to align on energisation strategy, shutdowns, and system readiness, ensuring clear communication and seamless execution across all disciplines.

* Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

Identify and mitigate risks associated with temporary and permanent power systems, driving continuous improvement in safety processes, documentation, and site-wide energy control standards.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on Mission Critical construction projects (Preferably Data Centres)

Must have relevant and recognised Senior Authorised Person qualifications

EU Passport is preferred
