Job Description

The Europe Reporting Manager (M/F) has the following key responsabilities:

• Working closely with our Client's accounting locations in Europe to maintain a financial control environment in compliance with Financial Standard Practices.
• Driving process improvement and consistency in accounting operations.
• Managing the U.S. GAAP quarterly reporting and balance sheet reviews.
• Supporting the plants in complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition.
• Collaborating with the broader finance group (Tax, Treasury and Finance) on cross-functional projects.
• Overseeing and contributing to the annual audit of our Client's U.S. GAAP financial statements.
• Direct supervisory responsibility on two or more accounting units.

Competenze ed esperienza

The Europe Reporting Manager (M/F) will comply with the following requirements:

• Strongly recommended a previous experience as Supervising Senior or Manager Audit in Big4.
• Broad knowledge of processes around AP, AR, Inventory accounting and financial reporting in general.
• Organized approach in managing their own standard work and projects.
• Proven supervisory experience with teams of multiple people.
• Accountancy qualification or ability to demonstrate accounting skills through relevant experience. U.S. GAAP or IFRS experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and advanced formulas and functions.
• Ability to dive deep into processes, people and technology challenges in order to identify issues and opportunities.
• Fluent English as needed to work effectively in a multinational accounting environment. International experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence and achieve strong team results.
• Leadership abilities to build consensus and alignment on team objectives and initiatives.
• Work from home policy to be agreed upon.
